SAWADEE KAH
A SEASON OF CONNECTION With Thai Bodywork • Education • Self-Care • Community As the seasons change, there is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—with ourselves, our practice, and the people around us. This month, I’m sharing a few ways we can continue that journey together through Thai Bodywork, education, self-care, and mindful connection. FEATURED: DEEPEN YOUR THAI BODYWORK PRACTICE There is always another layer to discover. Thai Bodywork invites us to work with the whole person—through movement, breath, rhythm, compression, stretching, energy lines, and mindful presence. Whether you are beginning your Thai Bodywork journey or looking to expand an established practice, upcoming trainings offer opportunities to learn, practice, and integrate these traditions into your work. Upcoming Thai Bodywork Trainings Registration and inquiries are open for upcoming Traditional Classic Thai Bodywork and Table Thai Bodywork trainings. It is a practice of listening. Listening to the body. Listening to the breath. Listening through the hands. And learning when to move, when to pause, and when simply to be present. My goal as a teacher is to help students develop not only their technical skills, but also their confidence, awareness, and connection to the practice. EXPERIENCE THAI BODYWORK Sometimes the best way to understand the work is to experience it yourself. My first time was in class! It was just something I knew I needed and had been looking for. Sessions may include elements of Thai Bodywork, assisted stretching, compression, breath awareness, and other therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual. SELF-CARE FOR THE PRACTITIONER We spend so much time caring for others. But who cares for the caregiver? Self-care is not an afterthought. It is part of developing a sustainable practice. Simple daily rituals—movement, breath, meditation, herbal practices, mindful touch, and moments of stillness—can help us return to ourselves. I encourage students and practitioners to explore self-care not as another item on the to-do list, but as a way of creating space to listen and restore. KEEP LEARNING For those looking to continue their education, additional offerings include: Thai Herbal Compress & self-care Reusi Dat Ton Tok Sen Thai scraping & Gua Sha Thai Sen energy work Advanced Thai Bodywork Barefoot Thai Bodywork & flow Thai for the Table Every class is an invitation to learn something new—and perhaps see something familiar in a different way. A NOTE OF GRATITUDE To everyone who has attended a class, received a treatment, practiced alongside me, hosted a training, shared this work with others, or simply followed along--Thank you. Traditional Thai Bodywork continues to grow because people choose to learn it, practice it, respect it, and share it. I am grateful to be part of that continuing journey. May we continue to learn with curiosity, practice with compassion, and touch with intention. With gratitude, Sarah Cheiky
